The 4iG Group has developed an international telecommunications strategy for the company with the establishment of a new corporate governance structure.
As of June 6, 2022, Róbert Budafoki has been appointed Head of 4iG International, leading the Group’s international telecommunications portfolio.
As Vice President of 4iG International, based in Tirana, his responsibilities include the main subsidiaries in the Western Balkans: One Crna Gora in Montenegro, as well as One Telecommunications and ALBtelecom in Albania.
Its main task is to oversee the integration of Albanian companies. Montenegro premium mobile operator One Crna Gora became part of the 4iG Group in December 2021.

The new manager has extensive experience and extensive expertise to support the growth of the 4iG portfolio in the Western Balkans.
ALBtelecom, the third largest mobile operator in Albania, market leader in fixed services, internet and TV, and One Telecommunications, the second fastest growing mobile operator in Albania, joined the Group in March 2022.

Róbert Budafoki’s professional expertise consists of strategic planning, monitoring of complex situations, as well as managing the integration of Albanian companies.
He has extensive experience in B2B, “incremental return” strategy, digital transformation, corporate software and cyber security.
After graduating from Budapest University of Technology as an electrical engineer, he began his career in information and communication technology in 1991.
Róbert Budafoki has been working in the telecommunications industry for several years. He has held the position of Executive Director of T-Systems Hungary, Commercial Director of Hungarian Telecom and Vice President of the Corporation of Saudi Telekom.
