A four-year-old boy has surprised his mother by bringing home a small deer while vacationing in a wooded area.
He had befriended the little deer he was bringing home while playing in the forest of the Massanutten Resort in Virginia, USA.
His mother Stephanie says he was cooking when he heard the footsteps of Dominic who started cleaning his shoes at the entrance.
When the woman came out, she saw her son standing next to a wild deer.
“The deer was ready to go inside !! I was funky! “I woke up for a second because I did not know what to do,” she said, as she took a picture of the unusual moment.
She had shared the image on her Facebook account.
Everyone was impressed by the way the little deer stood next to the four-year-old and the photo quickly went viral on the net.
Stephanie told ABC: “For a moment I could not believe my eyes, it was as if my mind was playing games. “But they behaved as if they were old friends.”
Stephanie explains that the deer was holding its head in one direction with its son Dominic while she was taking pictures.
The mother said that after the photos and the puppy food, she asked her son to accompany his friend back to the forest, in order to be found by his mother.
