Ergys Dashi, a 34-year-old Albanian, was executed while having dinner at a restaurant in the Ecuadorian city of Guayaquil.
While eating dinner, two people with flowers in their hands avoided checks for a vaccination certificate and approached the table where the Albanian was. They shot him with over 20 bullets leaving him dead on the spot.
As a result, 26-year-old Angie Romero, who was at the adjacent table, was also injured. Ecuadorian police are investigating the drug trafficking ring.
The investigations of the Turin Investigation Unit started in 2017 with several arrests, building the scheme and then succeeding in tracking down an Albanian involved.
