A 30-year-old man was scared to death in the early hours of Saturday morning in downtown Athens. Two thieves beat him, threatened him with a knife and bit his hand to steal his phone and wallet.
Initially, they pushed him from behind, knocking him to the ground, where he slammed his head. The perpetrators then threatened him with a knife and demanded the money and the phone.
“So, mobile, money, mobile”, said one of the robbers who did not speak Greek well.
The 30-year-old handed him the wallet with money while resisting the phone. At that moment, one of the robbers bit his hand, forcing him to leave, and before leaving, they also punched him, causing eye injuries.
The 30-year-old was taken to Gennimatas Hospital, where he is receiving medical treatment.
