By the end of this year, according to the minister, a total of 3 million doses of vaccines will be provided by various companies.
“A few days ago, over 100 thousand doses of Pfizer vaccine arrived, while 375 thousand doses of vaccine are expected soon, with the support of the European Union, to reach 3 million doses by the end of this year. As we expect to have the first amount of vaccines Johnson & Johnson by Covax.
The Albanian government has also secured a new contract with Pfizer of 1.5 million doses with the company Pfizer and we will continue to supply other vaccines.“, Said Manastirliu.
