57 kg of suspected narcotic plants, crushed and placed in the process of drying inside an apartment are seized, as well as 100 suspected narcotic plants, cultivated outside it.
The owner of the apartment is handcuffed.
Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section of the Kurbin Police Commissariat, following the successive operations to crack down on the criminal activity of cultivating narcotic plants in open and closed environments, in cooperation with the Prosecution at the Kurbin Judicial District Court, after a several weeks of proactive investigation, have successfully organized and finalized the anti-cannabis police operation codenamed “Light”, as a result of which another case of cultivation of narcotic plants in open and closed environments was hit, and a citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
-YT, 29 years old, resident in the neighborhood “Drita”, Mamurras, for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Production and sale of narcotics”.
During the control exercised inside the apartment of the 29-year-old who had adapted it as a warehouse, the Police services found and seized as material evidence, 57 kg of suspected narcotic plants cannabis sativa, crushed and placed in the drying process. Following the control, another 100 suspected cannabis sativa narcotic plants were seized, which were found cultivated outside the residence of the YT citizen.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecution at the Kurbin Judicial District Court, for further action.
