A genuine network of drug distribution in the city of Korça by suppliers, intermediaries and distributors has been hit by the police during the finalization of the ‘Knock down’ operation.
24 people from 25 to 44 years old who were involved in the distribution of cocaine, heroin, cannabis and synthetic drugs in the city of Korça have fallen into the hands of the police.
Police have also declared wanted 7 people who are suspected of being implicated in this scheme while 70 others are under investigation by the prosecution.
In the images provided by Top Channel, it can be seen that in the apartments of the detainees, the police found hundreds of doses of drugs ready for sale, as well as significant amounts of money.
Investigations into the crackdown on this narcotics distribution network started about 5 months ago due to the concerns of many citizens regarding the use of drugs by young people. Police intercepted some of the suspects and then were able to identify their accomplices, bringing the number of people under investigation to 101.
