The detainees were identified as: AG, 29 years old, resident in the neighborhood “Lef Sallata”, Vlora and AB, 26 years old, resident in the neighborhood “Rilindja” of Vlora. They are charged with the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics” and “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition.”
As part of the police operation codenamed “MARKET”, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics and illegal possession of weapons, a Kalashnikov-type firearm was seized, a quantity of suspected Heroin narcotics, divided into doses, a quantity of money, three electronic scales, a pair of handcuffs and two mobile phones. All these were found in the apartment of the citizen AG, during the control exercised by the police officers.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Vlora Court of First Instance for further action.
