Two people were killed and 10 others were injured in what US police called yesterday a “targeted” attack inside a crowded disco in the state of Iowa.
Investigators say male attackers fired at least 24 bullets inside the Taboo Nightclub & Lounge at around 1:30 p.m., local police chief Wayne Jerman said. for journalists .
“This is another serious incident that does not take into account human life. “I am angry at this disregard and disrespect for human life,” said Jerman.
A boy and a girl lost their lives from the shooting inside the nightclub where about 150 people were at the time of the incident, Jerman said.
The other ten victims who were injured by the bullets, were taken to hospital with wounds ranging from life-threatening to the youngest.
As of Monday morning, police had made no arrests for the incident.
Investigators are working to uncover the motive for the attack.

Residents said they were shocked by the violence in the eastern city of Iowa with about 130,000 people.
