Relentless bombing and airstrikes have turned large areas of many Ukrainian cities and towns into rubble.
The country’s Parliamentary Commission on Human Rights says the Russian military has destroyed almost 38,000 residential buildings, leaving about 220,000 people homeless.
Nearly 1,900 educational facilities from kindergartens, high schools and universities were damaged, including 180 completely destroyed.
