Processed meat products – contain large amounts of salt. Large amounts of nitrates prevent the body from processing sugar naturally, which increases the risk of diabetes. It can also affect the development of bowel cancer and thyroid disorders and increase the risk of hypertension.
Deep fried food – hydrogenated oil has many consequences for the body such as blockage of blood vessels and obesity. However, there is a link between hydrogenated vegetable oils and depression. Research has shown that anything related to hydrogenated oils and containing trans fats can contribute to depression.
